The Fall of the Half-Back Flanker
I could move like a cheetah and dance on a flame,
but those pricks hip-and-shouldered me out of the game.

Wonderful !!
Speaking on behalf of the half-back flankers union, we salute this statement of truth. Onya DB
Thanks gents. RK, in honour of the union here is a team of half-back flankers:
B: Chris Johnson, Bruce Doull, Gavin Wanganeen
HB: Corey Enright, Luke Hodge, Guy McKenna
C: Keith Greig, Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera, Nathan Buckley
HF: Jason Akermanis, Bob Murphy, Dayne Zorko
F: Leon Davis, Gary Ablett Senior, Aaron Davey
R: Shaun Grigg, Andrew McLeod, Nick Daicos
Thanks Damien, John Worsfold and Bluey McKenna were a great pair of half back flankers. Woosha would be in my team for Nasiah who one suspects wont ever become one of the games great half back flankers.
But Keith Greig is a great pick.
Thanks Dan. Agreed re Worsfold. Certainly that Eagles half-back line McKenna/Jakovick/Worsfold was the best of all time. The problem with my HBF team above is I had to select players who played multiple positions (rather than just strictly on the HBF) in order fill out the 18 spots. e.g. Neon Davis, Aker who made their names elsewhere, but were All-Australian revelations when they went down back, or Ablett who played on the HBF for parts of ’89. Other selections were specialist half-back flankers who played very well elsewhere e.g. Bob Murphy as an undersized CHF, and Bruce Doull who was also a very good full-back. It was a fun exercise.
