Here’s a brief summary of the event:

On Wednesday night, Matt Parkinson launched The Eagles Almanac 2018 at the North Fitzroy Arms. The appreciative crowd, which included just a handful of Eagles supporters, did their best to celebrate the Eagles victory. Both Matts (Parkinson and Quartermaine) were very funny as you would expect from senior statesmen of Australian comedy. Thanks also to Jan Schofield, Will’s Mum, who popped in on a whim after a game of golf, and also entertained the gathering with some touching stories. A good night was had by all. Thanks especially to Yvette Wroby for organising sales (and writers’ copies) on the night. We will have a launch in Perth in late March, 2019.
