The Art of Football Mark II

The Biggest Football Exhibition of Art Ever!

Now that is a big statement “the biggest football exhibition of art ever” but it is true! Football aficionado and now football art curator Citrus Bob Utber has put together what he describes as the largest assembly of football art ever seen in Australia at the one place at the one time.

Citrus said “Fellow Knackers will be pleased to hear that we have curated the biggest collection of Aussie rules art that one can view. Thanks to the initial exhibition of football art supported by The Footy Almanac, we have been able to gather together a group of artists who love their footy for this second show. Some of Australia’s finest painters have contributed to what I believe is an outstanding exhibition of our great game”.

MarnGrook maker Bernadette Atkinson will be demonstrating throughout the first week of the Exhibition at The Art Vault and the Ranfurly Primary School.

Do yourself a favour (thanks Molly) and make a special trip to Mildura to view this outstanding exhibition and perhaps even purchase a piece of Australian Culture.

Whilst in Mildura you will be able to buy yourself the best coffee in Australia from about 20 outlets and don’t forget to grab a meal in Feast Street.

The exhibition will run at The Art Vault in Mildura from Wednesday 13th September through to October 2nd.

Comments

  1. Magnificent work, Citrus.

I used to draw stick-man figures on my exercise book at Primary School. These drawing usually involved about thirty figures in a huge pack, with one at the very top holding the Sherrin aloft!!

No one recognised my artistic talents.

  2. Dammit. Stuck with the bloody Guggenheim Bilbao tomorrow.

  3. No problems PB I had asked security not to let you in any way.
By the way we have sold a pile of Richmond stuff and three MarnGrooks at the opening tonight.
