The 2021 Furphy Literary Awards – And the winners are….

 

 

The 2021 Furphy Literary Awards ceremony was held on-line on Saturday 14th August when the winners of both the national open age short story competition and the Junior and Youth age regional competition on Saturday night were announced.

The Award, established in 1992 is overseen by cousins Adam and Sam Furphy – fifth generation custodians of the Furphy family businesses and now the Furphy Foundation. The Award became a national competition for the first time in 2020.

 


The Furphy Anthology 2020 showcases sixteen short stories selected from last year’s Furphy Literary Award.
