Brilliant memoir from Swish Schwerdt who recalls The Cure’s Disintegration album on high rotation as the Adelaide Crows’ made their first finals series in 1993 (not necessarily related). The pain of the ’93 Prelim loss was later erased by victory in 1997 and then sharing the 1998 back-to-back triumph with Swishter #1.
