Round 22 – Collingwood v Geelong: Waltzing the Matildas at the ‘G with Pies and Cats

Citrus Bob Utber was at the MCG to watch his beloved Cats fall short against the Pies in their Round 22 match but The Matildas more than compensated with their fantastic win against France.

Round 2 – Collingwood v Port Adelaide: Hunting in numbers (Floreat Pica Society)

There is a frenetic pace of the so called “footy frenzy” amid the mess and noise of a pandemic, Haiku Bob can naught but think of the son who recreated a highlight of a gun.

Round 7 – Geelong v Collingwood: A Magpie Moment

It’s hard to get into the theatre of footy when every game is seen from the couch, but Luke Reynolds has found some joy in some old Pies names starring on centre stage of a big win over the Cats.

Round 5 – Collingwood v Essendon: Catching That Winter Sun

Nicole Kelly spends time with the kids at Port Fairy getting herself ready for the Pies clash against Essendon. The joy of the beach and the winter sunshine were the holiday highlights. Apart from young Daicos, the match wasn’t.

Round 4 – GWS v Collingwood: Heartbroken again

It was an unsettling time for Sean Mortell as the Pies hit the road and came up short against an under pressure Giants side – Jeremy Howe added injury to insult on a dark evening.

Round 2 – Collingwood v Richmond: Daicos Delights in Dour Draw

The couch will have to do instead of MCG seats for Luke Reynolds as he yells himself hoarse supporting his Magpies in their drawn game against the Tigers.

Round 20 – Collingwood v Gold Coast: Sticking With Number 5

‘Your first hero is your best hero”. Luke Reynolds and family celebrated the 100th game of the much injured Jamie Elliot in style.

Round 11 – Collingwood v Fremantle: Hurstbridge hordes and mature aged debutants

With Auskick and VFL as entree, Luke Reynolds took his youngsters to watch an in-form Magpies as they accounted for Fremantle.

Family and Footy

Mrs R writes to husband Luke and makes some observations about the place of the Collingwood FC in Reynolds family life. Looking at the pros and cons she comes down in favour of footy we think, but we’re not quite sure.

Luke Reynolds and his son Josh were pumped to watch the debut of Josh Daicos. He impressed in his first hit out, but it was Patrick Dangerfield who was centre stage.

Some promising signs against the classy reigning premiers, but in the end, it turned out to be a Dog Day Afternoon, Night and Week for the Pies according to Ramon.
