Round 10: Sal’s thoughts and tips for this week’s footy.

Not much on footy side to consider this week reports Sal especially as most Carlton fans could not face looking at the press.  That being the case Sal’s straight into the prognosis for the forthcoming round.

Round 6: Competition is close with some unpredictable results so far. Sal’s predictions for this weekend.

Sal laments his team is in the doldrums but for the most part the competition it is pretty close with some unpredictable results.  Some concern though about the lack of scoring and how easy it is to be defensive.  Let’s see what this week brings as Sal presents his predictions.

Round 3 – Sydney v GWS: Us winning is just as good as them losing!

According to Jan, Sydney played as a team, everyone contributed, and for the full four quarters. The Giants, those privileged young men who, despite being brilliant footballers, can still learn a thing or two from their eastern suburbs rivals – the Mighty Bloods! And long may it grow and last! Jan is excited by the Swans win.

Round 21 – Western Bulldogs v GWS: Just how good are the young guns?

Peter Fuller is a Carlton supporter but he went to this important match and had a good look at the two sides. What happened? And was it more than accuracy that won the Giants the game?

Round 17 – GWS v Sydney: I could gloat – but I refuse!

The stats don’t interest Jan, the speculation doesn’t interest her. All she wants is for the Swans to continue playing good hard-fought contested footy, as they have in recent weeks, then all the hype can take care of itself. Jan is a happy lady at the moment! Maybe into September? Who knows!

Round 8 – GWS v Collingwood: Buckle Up

It was a cracker! Topped off by a Stevie J match winner.

AFL Round 4 – GWS v Port Adelaide: The Gray Area

Sean Mortell reports on a Giants win in the frosty Canberra air.
