The Taurama Suns, Gulf Giants, Gerehu Magpies, and Gordon Kokafas are PNG footy teams. As are the Koki Dockers and the Koboni Demons. They all have to cope with the southerly blowing straight down the Amini Park Oval to the Boroko East end.

Murray Bird brings us the story of Jonathon Ila, who has been unable to walk since 2002. The ‘wheelchair coach’ has won the hearts of many through his coaching ability, giving young boys and girls in PNG the capacity to believe in themselves as natural Australian Rules footballers.
