Nick Kossatch had two showdowns in one day – a local grudge match and the Port Adelaide v Adelaide clash. In an exciting and long day, he saw plenty of entertaining footy.

Round 5 – Brisbane v Essendon: A wet and dismal night in Brisbane for the Dons

Rod Oaten was shocked to turn on his TV and see a waterlogged Gabba awaiting his Dons. It didn’t get much better, as he was left dispirited by Essendon’s performance against the firing Lions.

Round 5 – St Kilda v Richmond: Extremely disappointing and devastating loss

It was a tough time for Yoshi, who saw his Saints get crushed by Richmond on Thursday night footy. Bemoaning his side’s inadequacies, Yoshi calls for a tougher response against Port Adelaide next week.
