How did you go with your tipping for the Round 4 matches?

I only scored 3/9, indicative of the season to date, teams we were expecting to perform well are not living up to their expectations and likewise, other teams are performing above expectations making tipping a nightmare.

So who do we pick as winners for Round 5?

Brisbane came crashing back to earth after a poor performance against the Bombers while the Pies had a good win over the Bulldogs. You’d expect Collingwood to win this one.

Essendon had an excellent win last week and showed the form many pundits believed them to be capable of, while North Melbourne had a good first up win against Adelaide, however the Bombers should continue their winning way.

West Coast at home should account for the unpredictable Power fairly easily one would expect.

GWS after their encouraging win against the Cats at Kardinia Park should have too much polish for Freo and I’d suggest, run out comfortable winners against them.

Richmond showed a lot of the old Tiger fighting spirit winning against the Power and should continue their winning form against a disappointing Sydney.

Western Bulldogs should account for Carlton fairly easily one would expect but the Blues are knocking on the door for a win and this is the match that may provide an upset but I don’t think so. Bulldogs for me.

Crows have been very disappointing with many key players down on form. GCS have been in a number of close matches and are playing well. Critical game for the Crows and if they are to have any impact on the final 8 they need to win this game. I flipped the coin on this one, and it said heads, Crows.

Geelong will seething they dropped last week’s game against the Giants and will be out to atone themselves against the Hawks. I don’t think this game will be the tough, close encounter of previous years with Geelong to win.

Having made my predictions it’s feasible that all my tips could go the opposite way; it’s that sort of season!
