Rotting Leaves by Haiku Bob – Round 3

40 point turnaround –

in good times and bad

we are gathered here

balmy night

Cox effortlessly

runs too far

moon without lustre

we take it in turns

to miss the unmissable

the last leaf –

Ablett strips the pack

of the ball

rotting leaves

that sinking feeling

at half-time

Easter round

a back from the dead win

our only hope

another kick

with nothing riding on it

sails through

Bob – magnificent haiku. My attempt was:

    Cats were bad
    Cats were good
    Cats were bad
    Cats were good.

    Funny game.
