Rotary Lunch: John Harms, Alicia Sometimes and Nicole Hayes at Brunswick St. Oval (May 28)

Rotary Fitzroy

Footy Lunch – Iconic Brunswick St. Oval
$40.00 – 2 courses – Drinks at bar prices

Saturday May 28, 2016 – 11.30 am to 2pm

John Harms, writer and broadcaster, will facilitate a discussion with two entertaining local authors Alicia Sometimes and Nicole Hayes.

Alicia Sometimes is a writer, poet, broadcaster and musician. She is well known to 3RRR and ABC listeners. The book From the Outer will be a focus of the lunch discussion as it features stories that point to the games diversity – female, gay, indigenous, disabled, ethnically varied.

Nicole Hayes has published two novels The Whole of my World (featuring a female teenage footy player) and One True Thing which won the 2015 Children’s Peace Literature award.

Have some fun, support Rotary and local Youth Leadership.
