It’s the one month anniversary of The Women’s Almanac 2018!

It has been one month since we launched The Women’s Footy Almanac 2018 at a wonderful party at the North Fitzroy Arms! What a night it was.

The book is now out in the world and we couldn’t be prouder to have produced another edition of the Almanac that covers the women’s game and is also the only book to have done so for AFLW Season 2018.

Contributing to the ongoing coverage of women’s footy is a big passion of ours and having a book that has chronicled every match, given voice to so many fans’ different experiences of the season and added to the conversation is very special.

You can read more about the contents of this year’s edition here and be sure to check out Cheryl Critchley’s book review.

We have received some great coverage of the book over the past few weeks. We have been featured in The Guardian, The Women’s Game and MOJO news plus Yvette Wroby made a stellar appearance on The Marngrook Footy Show.

The team behind Women’s Australian Rules Football Radio were also there on the launch night to capture the excitement with some interviews if you missed the event or juts want to reminisce – take a listen.

There has also been some fantastic audio coverage and podcasts that Kasey Symons has appeared on to talk about the book, women’s footy and footy fandom, one just came out today – the Fan Grrrls podcast and Kasey appeared on Chicks Talking Footy and The Coodabeens last week.

It has been a wonderful month celebrating the book and women’s footy and now that the men’s season has come to a close, if you’re needing a footy fix and yet to get your copy – buy now and enjoy a great read over the off season!
