Haiku Bob – Round 3 – a new side

first win of the year
my daughter sees a new side
of her dad

crashing
our conversation
goal from the boundary

nine unanswered goals
more brilliant tonight
the stars

big half-time lead
some knowing looks
at the urinal

distant jet
the dashing defender
takes off

final siren
time to go home
and watch the replay!

beating Carlton
the fragrant aftertaste
of a single malt
