Haiku Bob – Round 20 – lessens the dread
August 10, 2017 by Leave a Comment
floodlight slides off the felled player’s sweat
dead rubber
all these mistakes
I’ve seen before
battle
of the cellar dwellars
our shadows outrun theirs
a win
over another also-ran
lessens the dread
relationship trouble
a battling win
speaks to me
gnarly trees –
the rugged defender prepares
to enter traffic
10 goals up
against the bottom team
my daughter’s smile
