FAL Round 1: Cathedral Crows v Centennial Swans (Final)

The match between Cathedral Crows and Centennial Swans will get underway at 2.10 pm this afternoon (March 27).

The Coefficient of Perceived Superiority is 1.2 (Crows)

An absolutely magnificent day in Adelaide – sunny. Mid-20s. No breeze to speak of. Good for footy. A bit warm. Rotations will be important this arvo.

Very few people in their seats. A lot of people are still across the road in the Cathedral Hotel.

Not sure what’s going on here. I’ll see if I can find out.

Word from a bloke who’s travelled from Kimba, “It’s not 10 past 2 in The Festival State mate.”

Well that’s tough for him, because we’re set to go. Crows kicking to the Cathedral End.

Scores soon (just rolling the dice and doing the calculation now – Thanks Anna and Evie)

Quarter 1. Crows dominant. Swans high efficiency inside 50 keeping the game alive.

Quarter 2: Swans with plenty of the footy. Accurate kicking keeping them in it.

Quarter 3:  Both sides taking their opportunities. It’s a real contest.

Quarter 4:  Game very much on. Here’s the first roll from Anna. It’s a 6. That’s 7 goals. That’s enough.

Final Score:

Cathedral Crows         6.7    8.12   13.17   20.21.141
Centennial Swans       3.1   7.2      12.6     17.11.113

  1. Mark 'Swish' Schwerdt says

Put Tex down for 6 kicks, 4 handballs , 2 marks and 1.1

  2. Mark 'Swish' Schwerdt says

Or 3 effective handballs if Ken Casellas is in the commentary box.

  3. Crows. Proudly poor in front of goals since 1991.

Still very close. Expect the Swans to surge.

  4. Mark Duffett says

A record match aggregate at this early stage? Good to see the Flying Buttresses generating plenty of opportunities.
