Lee Macefield is an oyster grower from Bruny Island. A self-confessed ‘frustrated writer’, Lee entered the Furphy Literary Award competition, one of about 850 entrants. To his surprise and delight, he was one of the 16 writers whose stories were chosen for publication.
Lee was interviewed by the ABC Tasmanian Country Hour host Tony Briscoe. To listen to that interview click here.

Just listened to the interview on the link. What a ripper. Do yourselves a favour and have a listen. A sojourn in Tassie is on in about 3 weeks. Might have to pay a visit. I love oysters.
