About David Wilson

Hit for a towering 6 by Mike Gatting at the Banyule Cricket Club, December 2002, theatrically attempting to reproduce the SK Warne delivery. The ball is yet to land. @e_regnans

  1. Citrus Bob says:

Will cover the weather reports for you blowing in from the Derwent 1 to 4 David.
    Citrus

  2. Mick Jeffrey says:

I’m available Day 1, have packed 6 jumpers!

  3. Thanks Citrus, thanks Mick.
    Excellent.

On team selection – If only there was a bloke around who makes good runs, is kind to those around him, and knows Hobart, knows Blundstone Arena.
If only such a bloke had tasted Test cricket before.
If only he had the sort of respect in the game that would have him named captain of the player-voted Australian Cricketers Association Sheffield Shield team of the year 2015/16.

If only he had made 142n.o. last week and batted sometimes facing backwards (please explain).

In March I was lucky enough to see GJ Bailey and others in Day 2 of the local Hobart comp- the Tasmanian Premier League First Grade Grand Final. South Hobart Sandy Bay v Kingborough.
    Played at Blundstone Arena.
Here are my observations of the day…

Rod Marsh could probably reach GJ Bailey via the South Hobart Sandy Bay clubrooms.
