Gabba Test 2016. Australia v Pakistan.

This is an invitation for writers of Test cricket; all styles, all ages; to submit their observations and thoughts on the Brisbane Test. All welcome.

Pink ball Test cricket comes to Brisbane. The Pakistan cricket team comes to Brisbane.

Australia:
1-2 to South Africa.
Upheaval, introspection, Chairman of Australian selectors resigns, some new players are hatched.
Won a couple of stand-alone 50-50 games v New Zealand.

Pakistan:
1st Test: New Zealand v Pakistan at Christchurch, Nov 17-20, 2016
Pakistan 133 and 171; New Zealand 200 and 108/2 (31.3 ov, target: 105)
NZ won by 8 wickets
2nd Test: New Zealand v Pakistan at Hamilton – Nov 25-29, 2016
New Zealand 271 and 313/5d; Pakistan 216 and 230 (92.1 ov, target: 369)
NZ won by 138 runs

    Pakistani woeful record away from home

    will affect things. I wonder if people will attend.
