Fame Game the 3 stood out from the 4, 10 and 20 – Our Ivanhowe, Trip to Paris and Bondi Beach.
This is based on a paper read of 5 mins and no lead-up form. But my mate Michael Grosvenor tipped aDelta Blues-Pop Rock deadheat in 2006 and was a nose away and has always maintained Japanese stayers are the best in the world by a mile. Given it’s form and acclimatization. it could make it a procession.
Always like Cup Form and the missus has been typing Ivanhoe in instead of Ivanov when booking for the Chekhov this week. an omen. We were talking about Bondi yesterday – omen. Would love a trip to Paris and the C Cup horses in 97 pretty much ran in that order in the big one.
Note: I did tip the Mackinnon winner on Thursday on a 5 minute peek before the rain, so I am a bit Michael Klinger at the moment. Could get selected, but would understand if not…

FLYNNY: as a clearly sensible man how do you justify outlaying hard-earned $$$$ on a chronically crooked and tainted game as Nag Racing.
Not only have a number of lads, charged with due care and diligence of the aforesaid nags, been charged with administering over-the-top substances — read ‘cobalt’ — to their charges now we have the 1930s re-visited with shots fired at the dwellings of Nag Racing stewards.
Plus visitations in the wee small hours of heavily ‘cartooned’ lads aboard powerful motor cycles to the homes of other Nag Racing officials/stewards.
Keep the $$$ flowing outwards just to the biggest TAB, Flynny: the ASX.
1 Sky Hunter
2 Max Dynamite
3 Excess Knowledge
3, 15, 8. Number 22 the smokie!

Cheers
Ok John, My trifecta is Criterion , Hartnell and third Prince of Penzance
I’m a bit late for the lunch but here’s some anagrammatic tips:
* Don’t back BIG ORANGE. He’s an anagram of A BIG GONER.
* HARTNELL could captivate the crowd as an anagram of ENTHRALL.
* Give RED CADEAUX the chop. He’s an anagram of RACE DUD – AXE.
* WHO SHOT THE BARMAN could be worth a quiet flutter. He’s an anagram of SHH! AM WORTH A BET ON.
* THE UNITED STATES has never travelled the 3200-metre distance, obviously meaning HE’S UNTESTED AT IT.
Nearest he pin I’d say.
Burkie, that is sensational. Rove those three with the field in a First 4 and you have quarter of a million $$.
