Almanac Poetry: Miner Poets – ABC Radio National ‘History Listen’
‘Miner Poets’, an ABC Radio National ‘History Listen’ program produced by Malcolm McKinnon in collaboration with Annie Venables and Richard Wolfe, is a wonderful program of verse and song that will complement the recent stories published on The Footy Almanac about football in Tasmania’s west mining communities.
There’s an ABC web-page devoted to the program, including a link to play and download the radio show as a podcast. There’s also a video clip. They can be viewed here.
