Almanac Music: Stereo Stories in concert in Albury

Stereo Stories in concert makes its first foray interstate, with a 90 minute show in Albury on Saturday evening, 10 September.

The dinner show is part of the tenth anniversary celebrations of the Write Around the Murray Festival.

The Stereo Stories Band will be backing stories written and narrated by festival guests Anson Cameron, Jane Harrison, Debra Oswald, and Phillip Murray, plus Stereo Stories’ very own Rijn Collins, Vin Maskell, Darren ‘Smokie’ Dawson and Paul Bateman.

It’s shaping up as another delightful evening of music and memoir, with dashes of humour and poignancy.

Book now via Write Around the Murray.

  1. Sounds good. Go well .

    Glen!

  2. And the song Anson has written a piece about is Words From Robin To Batman by The Kill Devil Hills. If you haven’t heard that song or them you’re just being cruel to yourself and your kin. It will be performed on the night by Jack Gramski (I kid you not) who can sing like… wow… he can sing.

  3. I hadn’t heard of The Kill Devil Hills or Words From Robin To Batman until Anson sent me his story for our Albury gig. It’s a hell of a song and Anson’s story, without giving too much away, is a hell of a story. Honest to the bare bone. You’ll find a sample of Jack Gramski singing the Springsteen song Growin Up (in Stereo stories context) on You Tube:
