Almanac Cricket – ODI: England v Australia at Trent Bridge

An interesting scorecard.

Funny thing is, I’d forgotten it was even on.

Has cricket been reduced to a statistical curiosity?

Thoughts?

  1. Forgot it was on too.

I think these beltings will do wonders for Australian cricket in the long run. A bit of humility. And hopefully the young blokes currently getting smashed all over the park will have a real burning sensation in their guts. It will be sweet revenge when it comes, and it will surely come.

  2. Howzat ! Two records in one match.

England’s highest ODI score : Australia’s biggest ever losing margin in an ODI.

    Nothing to be proud of.

    Glen!

  3. DBalassone says

    Geez, Agar must’ve bowled well.

  4. John Butler says

    All is relative, DB. :)

  5. The amount of schadenfreude being directed at Australia at the moment is quite unbecoming.

  6. John Butler says

    Can Schadenfreude bat?
