entering autumn
wondering how far
Pendlebury can take us
night dew
the rookie slowly
finding his feet
autumn trail…
Elliot wheels around
and threads it
momentum shift
the moon reaches
the forward fifty
slender lead
Pendlebury takes
an extra second
night clouds
so many shadows
around the football
sky grown dark the next goal wins
