About rob scott
Rob Scott (aka Haiku Bob) is a peripatetic haiku poet who calls Victoria Park home. He writes haiku in between teaching whisky and drinking English, or something like that.
You should have seen the Collingwood-mad in the bar of the All Nations the night of the Footy Town launch. They loved it – as the storm crashed and banged and pelted outside.
Hi Rob,
I love these haiku.
Especially these two:
dewy night the ground reflects our shortcomings
heat out of the game
the rose heads
drop
I was very happy about last night’s result between Essendon and Carlton. It’s such a great feeling when your team plays badly and still manages to beat a bitter rival.
thanks Myron.
Hoping Collingwood do a similar thing on Monday. They’ve certainly got the ‘playing badly’ part down pat.
