D.K. Gorman
The Goddess Advantage gripping her red.
And many more. Name them…
Thanks to all for making it such a top night at the All Nations. Thanks also to Adam Zwar who was superb. (The launcher tradition continues).
And another one:

Stripes and sashes outnumbering hoops?? Sign of things to come on field??
I am sure Almanac management will have security guards on the door next year to turn away anyone under 40 not wearing hoops.
Thanks John and Paul and the team
A great night had by all and to be able to meet some of the other almanacers
Kate
Another great night with a great bunch of people. Footy is such a uniting force for so many different personalities. And nothing illustrates that better than the Footy Almanac. Well done everyone involved!
Great that Seth Rogan turned up dressed as Sean Gorman.
best bunch of people you could ever meet :)
was great to catch up with a few of you before I had to dash off :(
Terrific night. Terrific people. Says it all really.
Cheers, Burkie
I am pretty sure the bloke at the top right is Dane Swan.
Sorry I missed the event. I look forward to getting my hands on the book.
AF
How unlike me to be clutching a glass of red. What a wonderfully boisterous night. So good to catch up with many of you.
And thank you Kevan for explaining the meaning of “laconic” – I will never misuse it again!
Cheers,
Ange
I can’t see Nick Riewoldt in the photo. Did Dips stay home?
Did anyone tape A. Zwar’s highly-entertaining speech? Would love a copy.
Great catch up. Congrats All.
Go Warriors.
You were missed AF, you were missed.
Great night. I probably should have stopped after my 27th beer but what can you do.
My head hurts
AF, bloke at top right checking in here.
Gotta get around town in black & white vertical stripes more often.
adios, #Swannyish
Ripper night. I said I was leaving at 10pm but was still there at midnight? Not sure how that happened.
Rick looks like Uncle Whatshisname from Dukes of Hazard. Loved that show.
Uncle Jesse
Ripper night Adam Z v funny – Nice work to all the peeps who pulled this together.

* I dont see it myself.
Andrew – Unkle Jesse?
Dave Nadel = Super Mario Bro
Off-screen is The People’s Elbow. He is wearing a navy blue rainproof jacket, grey T-shirt, blue jeans, and a pair of Converse sneakers loosely laced. His eyelashes have achieved equipoise – as long on the bottom as they are on the top. He has recently showered, and a careful modicum of product lifts his hair off his forehead. He has surprisingly fine hands. He smells like soap.
Terrific night. Great to meet many new knackers and catch up with old stalwarts. Good to see you getting your leg over Cookie!
I’m partially obscured up the back as I look up equipoise in my dictionary.
I’m totally obscured in both of these. Not a bad thing, many would argue.
However, I can be seen in this snap that Daff posted on his Twitter account: https://twitter.com/PaulDaffey/status/406395264178466816/photo/1/large
I had a great night going for the first time. Thanks for allowing me to hone my writing in this book – I am very honoured!
Can’t wait for next year!
I have a bad case of envy having missed it yet again but by crikey next year!!!
Peter, we do need to come up with a formula that will deliver you to a launch. I’ll write an article about our first attempt, entitled Schumacher’s Formula 1, of course.
#sorry
Incidentally, I love how the Footy Almanac puts on A LUNCH at the end of every month in footy season, and then at the end of the year, switches to its anagram, a LAUNCH.
Looks like a fun night. Home from Singapore in a two weeks- can’t wait to see the book. Am determined to get to a lunch, launch or function one day. It’s almost assuming, and I despise the term, bucket list importance!
Gigs – you do anagrams. As an ex-ex-bureaucrat I do acronyms: LAUNCH
Literate Adults Unveil New Christmas Highlight (politically correct version)
Lazy Arseholes Undertake Nuclear Claret Headache (the truth)
Having been to only one Almanac event, both versions seem equally appropriate to me.
Great stuff, Peter B. Look forward to more acronyms from you. – ATG*
*All Time Greatest
PJB*
*Pretty Jumbled Brain.
I’ve got one of those!
Good to put a couple of faces to names at my first launch! Hope to meet up with a few more sometime soon! :)
Jeepers what a good-looking bunch of likely folk. Shattered I missed, will be there next year with Brodie Grundy’s number on my back after a breakout year at the Pies. Or Jesse White’s…
Love Daff’s twitter photo. Talk about bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Must have been those moreish beers/reds.
Cheers, Burkie
