Hi guys,
I wish I could attend the Footy Almanac Launch tonight, but am afraid that I cannot because I live too far from Melbourne and Australia. It’s really sad for me to miss the great opportunities to say G’days, have friendly chats, share our thoughts and discuss about sports with you, wonderful people at this great community.
What I really hope are getting a wonderful job for Melbourne, moving there, watching St Kilda matches and joining the Footy Almanac Launch in 2015!
I wish this big event will be succeeded.

Hi Yoshi
You will most definitely be there in spirit. You are a great addition to the Almanac family and I (we) look forward to meeting up with you.
Cheers
Hope you make it here one day Yoshi. If you do I will point out those Almanackers who you do NOT want to get into a beer shout with. This is critical to your survival.
G’day Rick and Dips,
Thanks for your warm words and I’m happy to be a part of the Footy Almanac family. I hope you guys to enjoy tonight and make a way to join the event next year!
Cheers :)

Super night – I am never washing the hand that shook the hand of Trucker Slim, and will always cherish singing a duet of our favourite love song.
Anyone got the group photo of all of us to post?
Some interloper commented a few weeks back about what a bunch of self-congratulating tossers or similar the Almanackers are. If someone’s gonna blow smoke up my Tijuana, I can’t think of a better crowd to be doing it.
In truth, we probably are a little bit self-congratulatory… but then we have lots to be congratulatory about. And the world can sure do with a bit of positivity now and again – no harm done in obliging on that score.
I won’t see the book until a relative brings one over for me in about 5 weeks, so will be most grateful for any choice snippets that anyone can share here, to help whet the appetite…

Congrats on another year Almanackers. Good to see new and old faces in the fold.
