Saturday the 15th October 4pm Melbourne Town Hall – “Granland, The Ringer and working with Bill Simmons” – with editor at large of The Ringer Bryan Curtis in conversation with Francis Leach.
Sunday the 16th October 4pm Melbourne Town Hall – “Australian sports writers as celebrities – how journalists became the news” with Richard Hinds, Gideon Haigh, Rohan Connolly and Merryn Sherwood in conversation with The Guardian’s Russell Jackson.
Monday 17th October 6:30pm Melbourne Town Hall – “The rise of women’s sport – opportunity or opportunism?” with Angela Pippos, Karen Lyon, Danielle Warby and Chloe Saltau hosted by Lynne Haultain.
Tuesday 18th October – the Student Edition – “How to write your long form sports story” with Bryan Curtis editor at large at The Ringer in conversation with Russell Jackson of The Guardian.
