Round 4 – North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs: No
North Melbourne versus Western Bulldogs
4.20pm, Friday 14 April
Etihad Stadium, Melbourne
Aidan Hammond Aged 11
We went and we played footy, we missed half of the game. We are 3 hours away from home we are missing a random game. How good is this, is this an appeal. Getting spiked by 3 corner jacks, who is winning in the football game. Kick by kick we practiced it, trying to get goals. We think we are Eddie Betts but can we kick it straight. 10 bucks you kick from here, can’t even make it half way. Luckily we didn’t kick it, because bucks is punches slang. We are coming up running to get the goal dribbling the ball. Picking up of the ground. Running with it we will take a bounce. But can we kick the goal, no it doesn’t matter now. But will we regret it when it comes down to our job now. We play AFL we could win it now. But we miss it and lose now for our team on our 200th game. See it comes down to our practices, even if we miss half of, the first, Good Friday game, which would be good. A lot of footy then we go back to the campsite and feel accomplished.
I go in the caravan. Ask the people who have Telstra. If I could use the AFL live pass. I’m just really happy that they just don’t say pass. Why won’t the app load? I want to see this game. Finally the game actually loads looks like a contest, pretty cool. But I know the Dogs play a good, game they won the cup and they stick in there. The Roos are really good but they are 17 on the ladder. The commentators say that the Bont is having a good game. The Roos have a big lead, thinking about how the dogs would actually cope with this, they have the comeback a very big rush of goals. I am coming out from inside the caravan every time a goal happened I will shout it out to them. I would even shout it out, even if it’s a point. If there was a disposal rush I would be the man to tell you that someone actually just got 5 disposals in a minute. The last quarter is really close. Lindsay could win it for his team on his 200th but no.
