Round 13 – Haiku Bob: through the lines

 

 

undaunted

by the narrow defeat

I pour another wine

 

 

 

winter clouds ~

the occasional piece

of good play

 

 

 

dusk ~

De Goey weaves

through the lines

 

 

 

scores level

at the last break ~

half moon

 

 

 

 

nightfall ~

slowly our hopes

snuffed out

 

 

 

brittle leaves ~

a make or break kick

drifts wide

 

 

 

heading to the exit ~

the mix of chatter

with silence
