Punters argue the toss and come up with the goods (hopefully)

Terrific lunch at the Clyde Hotel yesterday. Fine form analysis from the 40 revellers has led to two trifecta being placed, the winnings to go to a Salvation Army charity:

Bet 1:

Flexi-trifecta for $200

1 and 3 roved with the field.

gives us 158% of the dividend

Bet 2:

the roughies flexi-trifecta for $200

box 4,5,7,8,11,12,13,15,16,19,23,24

to give us 15% of the dividend.

Gary Hutchins was at the lunch yesterday. He owns Charlie’s Queen which ran a huge race at $60 in the second.

Peter Linnegar was also at the lunch. He is a part-owner of Illustrious Blue in the Cup, so that might be worth a ticket at any old odds.

I have warmed to the 24. I’m taking a roving banker trifecta with the favourite and the Field.

Good punting.
