  1. Verity Sanders says:

Onyas – I’ll be watching the game at the ground with some friends. I think both teams are done and dusted for the year frankly, and its now all about getting some games into the youngies, and trying some new game plans.
It struck me that one of the several drawbacks of the very short season is that there’s little ( low risk) opportunity for coaches to try different structures or new players in different roles – if you mess up a game or two you’re gone for the year. I hope they do introduce a longer season and a finals round next year – which will mean increasing the remuneration for the players of course. Perhaps the AFL can redirect the AFLX fireworks and coloured goalposts budget to supporting actual human beings playing actual football – don’t get me started ). Saturday will still be an entertaining slugfest though – Have a Coopers Draught for me ! Cheers

  2. Enjoy the social watching footy with drinks and foods. I will be at the Dingoes footy training at the beginning of the event. Have Carlton Draught for me. Cheers!!
