after the sky bleeds cats from every nook and cranny
no moon Beams the light inside the arc
the dark rises –
I wait for the moon
and Leon
one star –
the pack releases
Ablett
ravaged trees –
the flimsiest of hopes
on Caff’s boot
the cold begins its creep shots drift wide
footprints in the dew…
all the ways
we failed to score
on our tails all night even the leaves chase me home
days when nothing’s meant to last the cat’s purr

HB – the leaves chasing you home – great visual.
Nice Rob, I wish you were a Cats supporter. You’re ok.
Early in the last quarter was one of the memorable ‘Collingwood leaves’.
Phanto – there are times when I wish I was anything but a Pies supporter!

Good to know you’ve got the Tasmanian on your side.
Bit like the dalai lama in Caddyshack.
