Autumn gust ~

the whole backline

swept aside

 

 

 

 

Autumn haze ~

not recalling a time

we looked this bad

 

 

 

 

twisted branches ~

the full forward

hangs out an arm

 

 

 

 

one leaf still clings slowly losing touch

 

 

 

 

lingering sun ~

a late goal from deep

in the pocket

 

 

 

 

sun between clouds ~

our latest comeback

snuffed out

 

 

 

 

10 goals down ~

the players’ shadows

sprawled across the turf

 

 

 

 

junk time ~

the umpire’s voice

loudest
