winter sun
DeGoey goals in a patch
of brilliance
the whole sky
to himself somehow
he drops the mark
very few leaves
still holding on
our defence folds
winter shadows
from every angle
outplayed
sinking to defeat
all the other things
I’m interested in
after the siren
seagulls reclaim
the wing
we lose
but then
the moon
