Haiku Bob – Round 12 – rise and rise

speccy –
the rise and rise
of the crowd

opening bounce –
our idle chatter
silenced

lead shrinks
I’m unsure of so many
things

game gets tight –
he takes his arm from around
his wife

winter clouds –
the opposition team catches us
then goes past

one goal to win it –
I’d do it myself
if I could

narrow loss
the full moon
barely rising

  1. I don’t know how youse dunnit, but I knows youse dunnit.

Superb HB, especially the line about taking his arm from around his wife.

  2. Brilliant HB. Is an “I was there” Haiku different to a “Global Pass Gogglebox” Haiku?
Speaking of which, is the screen size limited to 7″ for international streaming as it is for AFL Live Pass streaming this year? Will affect my purchasing decision when we head OS in September to escape my Eagles ritual end-of-season humiliation.

  3. Nice Haikus!
That loss would have been heartbreaking.
