Draws SUCK!

Rapunzel is DEAD.

That’s right; I’ve chopped off my extremely long hair and for the first time ever, I’ve gone blonde.

Well not really.

LOL it’s really Blonde extensions in my newly dyed blue-black hair, and it’s all for Jack Anthony, you know he seems to have a thing for blondes.

Monday morning comes and I wake up, my whole body is aching, you would think I’d played two games of netball. I’m just sore from the big night I had on Sunday, running around in heels and video taping my family friend’s communion party has tired me.

Running after little ones in heels with a room full of about 100 people trying to capture the Kodak moment of the cake cutting is hard work.

There’s about half an hour till the match starts on TV, so I eat some breakfast and slip into my Collingwood jumper just for fun.

It consoles me to be wearing my jumper with Jack’s number nine on my back.

It kinda feels like I have some sort of connection with him.

Jack signed my jumper right on the Number nine, and when I wear it I feel like I’ve got a piece of him with me, even though his form has been poor and he’s not playing.

Gee I miss him and his gorgeous number nine up in the forward line :(

The game starts and Steele is getting plenty of the footy, so does Swanny who misses the first shot. Cloke follows them with a goal “ON YA TRAVYY!”

Then Steele strolls in for his first.  :)  “I LOVE YOU STEELE!!”

Melbourne reply through a behind form Jamar, how pretty is he!?

Dale’s inventive effort, turns into a Davis goal.

The Dees get another through Bate, Barham hits the woodwork and then the other pretty Dee Miller shows just why he’s in the team.

Dick and Watts both get a goal for their efforts; although I’m just happy Watts’ hair has grown back cuter.

Jetta scores the opener of the second.

“MAXYYYY!!!!” takes a great grab, very nice display by the Captain.

The mood of the game shifts for the worse.

We were in control but all of the sudden the Dees start to pounce, they are now desperate, hungry, and like a new born vampire they thirst for blood.

The Dees are alive; the on button has been switched on, the monster unleashed.

Ben Reid is suddenly in charge of the kick-out, “JUST KILL ME NOW!”

Swanny misses.

Beamsy misses L

One point the difference after a goal to Dunn.

I’ll tell you what’s dunn, my Pies are dunn and dusted.

I’m calm; I’m fine, IM FREAKING OUT.

The Dees take the lead and I take a few chocolate bars out of the pantry.

Dick gets his second right on time.

Mum and I have a fight over Jamar; he’s pretty, stunning infact.

I win with a “Mum, I know his name and I saw him first.”

I must have missed something when I got up for a drink, “Why is MAXWELL in full tracksuit?!!”

He limps off to the bench.

“NOOO, MY CAPTAIN!! MY BABYY!!! It’s over!! Ohhhh, THE AGONY!!” :(

On the bright side thank goodness for Leigh Brown, he knows how to make me laugh.

Leigh’s got two young Dees, one in each hand holding them by the scuffs of their jumpers.

LMAOO!! HAHHA Oh I love Leigh and his tough man attitude.

Dick kicks his third, and we have missed 19 behinds so far.

NINETEEN!!!

WASTEFUL PIES!! PITIFUL PIES!! PATHETIC PIES!!

No wonder Mick has grey hair!

The quarter ends with some random getting a goal for the Dees.

Steele hits the post, in a quick bang at goal.

Miller kicks one.

Jolly kicks one.

Dick kicks one.

Bate kicks one.

Tarks kicks one.

Scores are level, and I’m sinking into the couch.

The players are desperate now; no one can get the ball clear.

The siren sounds, it’s a draw.

I want to cry, but I don’t, what’s the point?

They always do this to me anyway, I might as well get used to it.

    Good report.

But I should be more upset than you are! We’ve had Collingwood on toast twice this season and haven’t been able to beat them once!

  2. Danielle says

lol Steve you should have said EAT instead of beat, you know since you are talking about toast!
    :)

  3. Nice work Danni, I laughed at a few lines in particular

    “Collingwood have missed 19 behinds”
“Some random got a goal for the Dees”

If they missed 19 behinds, surely that would mean they scored 19 goals, or had 19 shots that were either goals or out on the full?

  4. Danielle says

Gee im sorry for being specific!!!
    lol
    NINETEEN!!!

  14. Richard Naco says

    Jamar is “pretty”!!!???

For goodness sake, uncle, get the blonde bits out of your hair now before the damage is irreparable!

(And it’s sweet that you have such a crush on a reserves player these days. What’ll you do when he gets traded?)

  15. Richard Naco says

And by the sound of it, the Pies may have missed 22 behinds, but your report indicates that you spotted every one of them.

Regardless of what colour shorts was covering each of them. ;)

  16. Danielle says

    15&16
    LMAOOO!!!

Don’t worry the blonde is temporary.

  17. Steve Healy says

yes danni your own comment was very funny!

  18. Danielle says

    17- wow..the blonde is worse than i thought…lol

  19. We’ve lost the brunette forever..

  20. Danielle says

19- Blame number nine of Collingwood for that! lol

  21. Richard Naco says

    Who’s #9?

Didn’t he once play for the Pies?

(And get the blue-black tresses back: the Moondog returns Friday week. You going to that game, Dani?)

  22. 21-
    “who’s number nine?”
Jack really asked me that exact question when he saw i have his number, after i took a photo with him and asked him to sign my jumper. :)
i’ll give you the exact response i gave him
    “yeah, i don’t know” ;)

no i won’t be there JB.
Blow some kisses at Mooney will ya?

    Danni

  23. 22- sorry i mean uncle!
