Trivialities abound. Clues are AFL related.
My initial idea was to fit the clues into a crossword. However ………
The inclusion of letter numbers would probably have given too much away. But these can be provided, along with solutions, as/if required.
- Hawk or Bulldog is craggy on top
- Power player is neither black nor teal but more commonly the American way
- Member of far-flung family now representing Geelong, GWS, Adelaide etc – such is life
- Hazard ahead of the pasture
- Generally a giant
- Perhaps I rid stuntman of tiger
- I don’t rant but I rail incorrectly twice
- Has first mixed with those from the broken isle
- SW1 square
- Magpies will con with goodwill
- Mim uses sandsoap to reveal coach
- Threatening mob produces player from Gold Coast or the Crows
- This commentator is special
- High ranking basketball player broke records at North Melbourne
- Hawthorn recruit from Mediterranean isle
- Leaving five behind, Carlton player goes sailing
- Being bold with lawnmower produces highest award
- Fix the tag for great place to watch football
- First catch then messily inch to a Richmond player
- Ah, then rejoined Essendon star
- His chance means none at all
- Football family together with head of government constructs oil rig
- This Docker will chase any netball
- Part of Aiden Bonar bores back to become a SANFL great.
- Lots of them at St Kilda but the only darling in the west
- Two Crows and a Power forward together produce rambunctious Australian musical ensemble
- Do the Dockers and I land safely? Only partly
- Grins broadly and provides sturdy support at the Gabba
- Scrambled the plotline but receives award and becomes a Bulldog
- Hawthorn player confused, did not start

About Peter Crossing
Peter Crossing loves the pure 'n natch'l blues. He is a member of the silver fox faction of the Adelaide Uni Greys. He is something of a cricket tragic although admitting to little interest in the IPL or Big Bash forms of the game.
24. I’m not sure how you got Wilbur Wilson from that clue
nice work on #7!
26. Air Supply?
Thanks Gents
Swish – So #24 should have read “I burn willows around the central district and become a SANFL great”?
Pete – Should #6 be #4 or would that make it too easy?
Mickey – Rambunctious, not grossly rambunctious! And there are no blokes called Russell on Crows or Port list.
Should have made clue #24 clue #10 instead, in honour of the answer.
