Almanac/Odd Friday Lunch 11th May: with ABC TV presenter Paul “PK” Kennedy

Friday May 11 – Lunch with Paul Kennedy

Almanac/Odd Friday Lunch on May 11 is with ABC broadcaster, writer, family man and sportsman Paul Kennedy whose laidback style and sense of perspective have endeared him to audiences across the country.

Paul is best known as the sports reporter on ABC TV’s News Breakfast. But he is equally at home in the anchor’s chair. His thoroughly researched and sensitively written books include, most recently,  with Chrissie Foster on child abuse. He has written about the Waterhouses, the Melbourne Storm and also the tragic tale of the footballers who drowned off Mornington in 1892.

  1. Jarrod_L says

Fan of the way he goes about it, well spoken and knowledgeable too. Should be a cracker.

  2. I would almost move to Melbourne for the quality of the speakers, company and nourishment at the Almanac lunches. Almost but not quite.
PK sounds a real renaissance man. I had seen him on News Breakfast but didn’t realise he was such a wide ranging author.
If there was a video link I could drum up some pan roasted cajun chicken breast at home, and tuck into a Margaret River red at 10 in the morning over here in Perth. Is that what they mean by a live feed?
