Almanac Lunches and other frivolities: Last week and now this week

Terrific lunch with Anson Cameron on Friday at the North Fitzroy Arms. Anson was in good form, as always, and certainly entertained the crowd. And he can draw a crowd too. From left: Brian Dixon, Perc, Anson, Ronald Dale Barassi (Ron, Cheryl and Rosemary are big fans of Anson’s Saturday column), Gareth Andrews and JTH. Four premiership players and two products of Gowrie St Primary School (in Shepparton).

The events keep coming.

Was a wonderful lunch. Anson was brilliant and very funny. Just being in the same room as RD Barassi was incredible.
Beers with the Geelong alumni (P.Flynn, D.O’Donnell and J.Harms) was fantastic as always. Looking forward to the great G.Haigh on Friday.
