Harmsy, I popped in and saw the second half on Monday. What I saw shocked me. Melb are possibly the worst AFL team I;ve ever seen. (Haven’t seen GWS in the flesh and when Fitzroy were on their last legs I was living in London.) No spirit, defence, skills, idea. Davey was the worst out there and indicative of Melb’s problems. He was ‘playing’ on Didak but didn’t go near him. He was totally unaccountable and selfish and lazy. Dids looks short of a run but had the time of his life.

In Melb’s defence, they can’t get Clark and Dawes out there. The latter was subbed off wiht a knee at halftime. There’s their forward line gone.

Sacking the coach isn’t the way to go. Keep him on until the end of the season while pursuing Mark Williams for 2014.

I believe the rumours of a power struggle at Cwood. It’s the coach versus Swan, THomas, Heath, Dids, Cloke etc. Cloke was so undisciplined at times on Sunday. He blasted away a few times including flopping a torp into the forward line. He wouldn’t have done it under Mick.
